Career Summary

Mr. Guimbarda is a founder and principal owner of EVS Realty Advisors, Inc. He has direct responsibility for all the accounting operations of the company, as well as consulting and investment activities.

Mr. Guimbarda is also President of Enhanced Value Strategies, Inc. (EVS), a St. Louis, Missouri based full-service real estate consulting firm founded in 1997. In this capacity he provides consulting services to a variety of clients, concentrating principally on capital solutions (debt and equity) and strategic policies for real estate organizations. Through EVS he has worked with service providers, private and institutional investors, as well as developers of single-family and multi-family residential communities.

Mr. Guimbarda has held several senior management positions in the real estate industry for more than 25 years. He was Sr. Vice President-Multifamily with Paragon Group, Inc., a publicly owned (NYSE) REIT until it merged with Camden Property Trust (CPT, NYSE) in 1997. Prior to that position, he was a Partner with Paragon Group, a national real estate development organization, with principal responsibility for financial and administrative functions in their Midwest Regional Headquarters. During his tenure, he also had operational responsibilities in both commercial property and multi-family disciplines. While with Paragon Group, Mr. Guimbarda concentrated on the management of financial structures of investment entities and was involved in negotiating the placement of a variety of private and public capital for those companies. Mr. Guimbarda managed such placements for international and domestic pension funds, public investment funds, and private and institutional investment groups. He is familiar with all traditional forms of debt and equity structures including tax exempt municipal bonds, TIF financing structures, public real estate companies (REIT), publicly traded investment funds, investment syndication, as well as more familiar forms of institutional and agency debt and equity investment.
